Notice of Electronic Filing Service Interruption

Due to the failure of the First Judicial District’s Civil, Criminal and Orphans’ Court Electronic Filing Systems beginning on Friday, March 12, 2021, litigants have been unable to electronically file pleadings. Therefore, pursuant to Pa.R.C.P. 205.4 (e)(1), Phila.R.C.P. *205.4, Pa.R.Crim.P. 576.1(E)(6), Phila.R.Crim.P. *576(c)(9), Pa.O.C. Rule 4.7(e) and Phila.O.C. Rule 4.7A(5)(d), the deadline prescribed under any applicable rule or court order for the timely filing of pleadings shall be extended until the end of the next business day after access to the Electronic Filing Systems has been restored. A notice shall be posted when the Electronic Filing Systems are restored.
